Achieving Multidimensional Educational Goals Through Standard-Oriented Teaching. An Application to STEM Education

چکیده
Socially and in relation to the individual, schools’ mission for STEM education is not limited teaching of knowledge cognitive skills. Although they form an important basis dealing with today’s challenges a self-confident responsible manner, alone are enough. Positive attitudes towards learning additional prerequisites lifelong participation society. However, national educational standards still focus mainly on developing competencies. They hardly take into account multidimensional goals that combine both non-cognitive outcomes. At classroom level, everyday school life, addressing one greatest challenges. Introducing standard-oriented curricula may have potential shift teachers’ professional perception also goals. We argue that, order foster goals, need be more clearly addressed at policy, teacher training, level. One research agenda within next years will examine discuss connection between implementation teaching, achievement multiple competence.
